Circle Music -

co-creation

I love making and listening to music that arises from encounters between people, created in the present moment, with only body and voice. My experience is that this music of the moment can emerge in any circle and in any group of people.

In a step-by-step process, I guide groups from sonic imitation to free, improvised expression.

It's about exploring one's own individual sound and at the same time sensing the group sound.

There is no "right and wrong" here, yet there are qualities that make it more likely that a group of people will become a unified sound body.

It is the shared journey into the unknown - sometimes through phases of chaos - that makes moments of genuine co-creation, shared leadership and connection tangible and audible.

I was very fortunate to have been influenced by pioneers like Bobby McFerrin , Rhiannon and Música do Circulo.
